Here's your guide to use it correctly and the cooling performance you can expect from each method.

1. FREEZE PACK + USB POWER INSULIN COOLER

Using both the Biogel Freeze Pack and the USB Lid simultaneously is the most powerful cooling method from the Explorer Insulin Cooler. It keeps your insulin and medicines cold for up to 3 days, even in the most challenging summer conditions.

1. Prepare the Biogel: For even distribution, shake the Biogel freeze pack up and down four or five times.

2. Then, simply place your Biogel freeze pack in the freezer for 6-8 hours before use. (there is no issue if you leave it in the freezer for more than 8 hours.)

3. Once you need to use it, submerge the freeze pack in luke-warm tap water for 120-180 seconds before placing it into the insulated cooling bottle. In the absence of luke-warm water, leave it outside for 15-20 minutes before use; however, the warm tap water method is more efficient throughout the year and at various seasonal temperatures. Following one of the procedures above will remove the ice layer (frost) from the surface of this cooling component, eliminating the risks of freezing your medicine when in direct contact.

4. Gently towel dry the Biogel and place your insulin or medicine inside the cooling case, along with the frozen pack.

5. Seal the cooler with the USB lid and connect it to any USB power source. It's that simple!

1. Swap out the USB lid for the regular lid.

2. Prepare the Biogel: For even distribution, shake the Biogel freeze pack up and down four or five times.

3. USB-POWERED INSULIN COOLER – No Freeze Pack

This function operates efficiently in environments with ambient temperatures of 86°F / 30°C, delivering the following cooling performance:

• At 86°F / 30°C, the USB Insulin Cooler effectively lowers the internal temperature to 25°F / 15°C compared to the external temperature. This consistent cooling mechanism maintains interior temperatures between 46-79°F / 8-26°C for as long as it is plugged into a power source.
