Instrucciones de Uso

How to Use the Nomad Pro Insulin Case for Traveling

The Nomad Pro travel cases are designed to be simple, safe, and reliable for everyday use and travel.

  1. Prepare the Biogel Freeze Pack: Shake the Biogel pack up and down four or five times to evenly distribute the gel inside.
  2. Freeze the Pack: Place the Biogel pack in the freezer for 6–8 hours before use. (No problem if it stays in the freezer longer.)
  3. Activate Before Use: Submerge the frozen Biogel in lukewarm tap water for 2–3 minutes before placing it into the insulated cooling bottle. In the absence of luke-warm water, leave it outside for 15-20 minutes before use. Following one of the procedures above will remove the ice layer (frost) from the surface of the cooling pack, eliminating the risks of freezing your medicine when in direct contact.
  4. Dry & Load: Pat the Biogel freeze pack dry with a towel, then place your insulin or other medications inside the Nomad Pro Cooling Case along with the freeze pack.
  5. Secure & Monitor: Close the lid tightly, and check the touch-screen temperature display any time you need to confirm your medications are stored within the safe range (shown in both °C and °F).

Cooling Performance

The cooling performance depends on the size of your Nomad Pro: the Large model provides slightly longer refrigeration than the Medium.

Large Nomad Pro:

  • At 86°F / 30°C → keeps your insulin & medication refrigerated (36–46°F / 2–8°C) for 33 hours, and cool (<79°F / 26°C) for 52 hours.
  • At 95°F / 35°C → keeps your insulin & medication refrigerated for 30 hours, and cool for 48 hours.
  • At 104°F / 40°C → keeps your insulin & medication refrigerated for 28 hours, and cool for 46 hours.

Medium Nomad Pro:

  • At 86°F / 30°C → keeps your insulin & medication refrigerated for 30 hours, and cool for 48 hours.
  • At 95°F / 35°C → keeps your insulin & medication refrigerated for 28 hours, and cool for 46 hours.
  • At 104°F / 40°C → keeps your insulin & medication refrigerated for 26 hours, and cool for 44 hours.

Pro Tip: Extend The Cooling Duration!

For extended trips or continuous use, keep extra Biogel freeze packs on hand, ready to swap when you need to use your Nomad Pro for longer!

Great for Diabetics on Insulin, Ozempic & More

The Nomad Pro makes a great Diabetic Travel Case for anyone who needs to travel with diabetes injections.

Whether you rely on insulin or type 2 diabetes injections like Ozempic, Mounjaro, Trulicity or others, this travel cooling case keeps your diabetes treatment cold and safe for days at a time.

It's a medical-grade, reliable diabetic travel case cooler built to make trips, flights, and daily commutes stress-free.

The Ideal GLP1 Travel Case

Whether you’re using Zepbound, Wegovy, Semaglutide, or Tirzepatide, the Nomad Pro Insulin Travel Case is perfectly suited for the new generation of GLP-1 medications.

Engineered to maintain the precise storage conditions GLP-1 injections require, it guarantees consistent refrigeration, prevents heat exposure, and avoids accidental freezing.

For anyone relying on GLP-1 medications, the Nomad Pro offers more than convenience—it safeguards the effectiveness and integrity of your treatment, helping you stay on track with your health goals whether you’re at home, at work, or traveling.

Compatible with 30+ Medications

Besides insulin and GLP1 injections, the Nomad Pro Insulin Travel Case is designed to safely carry over 30 types of refrigerated medications.

From growth hormones (HGH, Genotropin, Norditropin) to rheumatoid arthritis injections (Humira, Enbrel), IVF and fertility injections, migraine treatments (Aimovig, Emgality, Ajovy), asthma injections, and many more, the Nomad Pro keeps a wide range of biologics and injectables consistently and safely refrigerated.

➡️ To confirm how many pens, vials, or syringes of your specific medication will fit, please check the product images or the “Size & Fit” section above.

Only for Insulin & Meds That Need Refrigeration

The Nomad Pro Insulin Travel Case uses powerful cooling technology engineered to maintain fridge temperatures (36–46°F / 2–8°C). This makes it perfect for transporting unopened insulin and other refrigerated injections, but it may be too cold for certain medications once they’re in use.

For in-use insulin pens and room-temperature medications that only need protection from heat—but not full refrigeration—consider our insulated travel cases: alternatives, like the Rambler Insulin Pen Travel Case or the Chillers Cooling Pouches.

New Vibrant Colors & Scratch-Resistant Paint

The Nomad Pro debuts in bold, vibrant colors and features an upgraded, scratch-resistant coating for added durability.

While no finish can ever be completely scratch-proof, the improved paint—paired with the included protective carrying bag—helps keep your insulin travel case looking sleek and fresh, trip after trip.
